Meniere’s Disease sometimes written as (MD), is characterized as episodes of room spinning dizziness (vertigo), hearing loss, ringing sound (tinnitus), and ear fullness.

Symptoms of Meniere’s Disease

The primary symptoms of Meniere’s consists of repeated episodes of vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus and ear fullness. Some people may also experience secondary symptoms related to irregular reactions of the autonomic nervous system.

Diagnosing Meniere’s Disease

The process of diagnosing Meniere’s will often consist of hearing assessments, balance assessments, and other diagnostic testing such as an MRI to help rule out other conditions that present similar symptoms.
