Erin Hughes, MSN, FNP-C
Certified Nurse Practitioner
About
Erin Hughes is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico in 2024, building on a strong foundation from her Bachelor of Science in Nursing completed in 2007 at Abilene Christian University.
Originally from Colorado, Erin was raised overseas—living in Cairo, Egypt and Jakarta, Indonesia—which fostered her appreciation for diverse cultures. Her nursing journey began in Denver, where she served at Children’s Hospital Colorado, earning her specialty certification as a Pediatric Nurse. Throughout her career, she has gained 14 years of experience caring for both pediatric and adult populations.
Most recently, Erin served as an NP Resident at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque, rotating through Primary Care and various specialty departments. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for ENT, drawn by its direct impact on patient quality of life.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter. Whether exploring a new trail or trying out local food spots, she values making meaningful memories with her family.
Erin is thrilled to join the National Sinus Institute team as a Provider in Albuquerque, where she is committed to helping patients breathe easier, feel better, and thrive.
